Mother's Day Flower Sale
Once again, it is time for the annual Mother’s Day flower sale. Flowers will be available for pick up on Thursday, May 9th; to be delivered Mother’s Day weekend. The flowers will be sold for three dollars a flower with welcome donations. Proceeds will go to Together For Life Northland, divided equally among its collaborative partners, near Duluth and the Iron Range. Your donations help to provide care and service to families, babies and children. Pre-orders need to be submitted by April 28th.

The Star of the North Maternity Home helps to fill the need for housing for pregnant mothers and/or mothers with children experiencing housing instability in our Northland communities. Our hope is to go beyond housing to transform women’s lives with education, holistic medical care, and comprehensive services by partnering with our TFLN collaborative and community partners. Whether the mother wants to keep her baby or explore adoption, we will be here to support them to independence.
Our residences house women while pregnant and after they have their child(ren) for up to 10 years. We are here to assist our moms towards independence by providing a program and care management focused on parenting skills, education, and finding transitional housing. Each situation is unique and we will support them in their time of need.
